VISION
The undergirding VISION and purpose of the Church is to, KNOW GOD and to MAKE HIM KNOWN. Jesus said in Mathew 16:18, "I will build My Church, and the gates of hades will not prevail against it". Therefore, it is our desire to learn what it means to honor Him, and to allow Him to build us up, as His people.
Jesus told His disciples to "Go and Make Disciples of all nations" (Mathew 28:19,20), therefore it is the calling of the Church to reach and raise up disciples, who will serve and glorify the Lord, in how they live. We have learned to recognize the different levels of reaching and developing disciples, which can be described in this way....
1. REACHING....to always look for opportunites to see people touched and changed by the truth and power of Jesus Christ.
2. RESTORING....to minister forgiveness, healing and wholeness to those coming out of darkness and into the "Light of the Glorious Gospel".
3. RENEWING...to help teach and train believers of all ages, to "Renew their minds" with the Word of God, helping them to line up their lives with "The Will of God", through the power of the Holy Spirit.
4. RELEASING....every believer to fullfill the "High Calling" of God upon thier lives.
Each of these levels of ministry define the care and calling of the church, where it comes to reaching this world and raising up disciples to glorify God. We consider it an honor and a privelage to be THE CHURCH and to serve the Lord with gladness, in our generation.
A "SPIRIT FILLED" distinctive.
We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a greater empowerment and anointing for every aspect of our life in God. Therefore we allow the fullness of the Holy Spirit to shape and empower everything that we do as a Church body. Our gatherings, our training, our goals and commitments, etc. are all saturated and lead with prayer.
